WOW! I am so stoked! Shawn Collins – one of the founders of Affiliate Summit - personally reached out to me and asked if I'd like to do a speech at the next Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas!
This just brought up a childhood memory when I was 17 I was visiting my brother in Houston, TX when I realized there was an upcoming Affiliate Summit taking place in Las Vegas.
Now if you've been to an Affiliate Summit before, you know the age limit to attend is minimum 21 – so when I read that line on their website, I was thinking I will personally reach out to Missy Ward and talk myself into the conference.
I had no self-doubt I can do it - I am naturally like that – when I set my mind to something, a goal or project I fear no obstacles. :)
The only thing I was missing were my business cards – I thought to myself, a professional business lady like myself needs nice business cards to be taken seriously at a conference. I was in a rush because...
I am on the way back to my new home – Barcelona as I'm writing this article. I just got done with an amazing Chinese business trip – spent some incredible time in Xi'an, China.
Leadbit and Yeahmobi invited me as a speaker to their Chinese Affiliate Meetup, which took place on Friday. More than 400 affiliates showed up, mostly Chinese attendees but you could meet people from Canada, Romania, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
They had speakers from all around the world, Kokofai from the well-known STM forum was hosting the event and he did an outstanding job, he speaks Mandarin and English so we had a good understanding of what's happening. The biggest challenge in China was the language barrier because not many Chinese speak or understand English very well, but international attendees had the same problem with Mandarin. :) So to overcome this gap – every attendee was provided with a headset for translation, you could listen in to the...
June 9-12, 2017 – the weekend of super affiliates.
And by super affiliates I mean the top 50. From all around the world. Guys (and girls!!) from Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, US and many more took the time to fly to beautiful Antalya, Turkey. We were treated like superstars by the AdCombo team – hands down to an elite weekend! They covered the flight, the all inclusive luxury resort stay and looked after all our wishes.
When we arrived to the resort, the beautiful Adcombo girls greeted us with warm hugs right in front of their main prize – the Ferrari California:
After the heartwarming greetings, the raffle chips, choco strawberry and some champagne followed. We...
Welcome back my lovely readers, it's been long!
I wanted to share one of the coolest updates Facebook is about to roll out!
Okay, so anyone who's familiar with buying ads on Facebook is most likely aware of the power of lookalikes. Adrian Morrison, Tim Burd, iAmAttila and other well-known ad buyers have been utilizing this amazing feature Facebook has to offer.
For those of you who don't know what a lookalike is... Basically Facebook's algorithm is so advanced that you can feed it some data and it finds you people who are very much similar to your data feed. By data I mean email or phone number. One thing is for sure, the better the quality of this data the more powerful lookalike audiences Facebook can build for you. What do I mean by “quality data”? Just imagine if you had a list of repeat buyers only – or a list of people with the highest lifetime value – how...
I’m on a flight from NYC right after ASE16 on my way back to Houston my 2nd home. I know it’s probably a #FirstWorldProblem but there’s no internet, nor hot meal on this flight even tho I’m flying BusinessFirst on United. At least I have a big room for my laptop and to kill time I have 2 options: watch TV to get brainwashed OR write a killer article to educate my fellow affiliates.
So here I am thinking about a very interesting topic…
What’s your tactic to choose the right offer? What are the main metrics you look at when you’re selecting an offer for testing? How exactly do you measure a GOOD offer?
Let me take a wild guess! You look at the payout first… You’re probably signed up for a multiple CPA Networks and what you probably base your decision on is the payout.
Ever wondered why some networks offer a much higher payout for the very same offer? Let’s say “CPA Network A” offers $12 payout per lead while...
Super exciting!! Affiliate World Conference in Berlin is going to take place in just 8 days!
All conferences have one thing in common – the outstanding opportunity to meet people. This is what I tell my clients and partners that networking is the most important element of a successful affiliate marketing business ,as no skills are worth a dime without the right connections. As they say your network is your net worth – so focus on building your social capital if you want a long-term successful business!
You get to meet amazing people at these shows and truth to be told Affiliate World Conferences has been the most exciting show I've been waiting for this year! AWA in Bangkok last year was a blast, it was truly an amazing experience for me.
AWE will be great to meet CPA networks face-to-face, to find good JV opportunities and to have a good time in the meantime. It's a must to attend the before and after parties because that's where the real magic...
Here I am flying home from the London meetup - 3 hours should be enough to write this article... :)
It has been over a year ago since we had the last STM meetup here in London. Looking back, things have changed a lot since then. I am not just a simple affiliate anymore... I remember in London I was a solo affiliate with part time remote workers. Things have grown to the next level and my operations are keep expanding.
I'm not only a full-time affiliate marketer but also a consultant for Facebook ads with 100s of consulting hours behind me. My horizon has expanded and I have realized how important it is to take advantage of the opportunities that come across me. A lot of people hit me up for guidance on how to run on FB and truth to be told I wasn't very keen on letting “my secrets” out. But then I look at things from a different perspective. First of all not many affiliates have the willpower to take action. FB's algo is super complex and it takes a lot of...
All Facebook marketers can relate to the nightmare of not having any ad accounts to run on. You don't necessarily need to be a naughty affiliate to get your accounts flagged. Many affiliates ask the question what flags an account and my main answer would be: your ads. How!? People are hating no matter what content you're running – for example you run an ad for a Papa T-shirt which is completely compliant with FB's rules but you still end up with a flagged account. Why does it happen? When users don't like your ad first they flag it, then they post a negative comment as they're associating a negative memory or feeling with your image or ad copy. (for example some would comment, “my papa died -,-”) This is out of your control, you can't really predict how many people will flag your ad – which will eventually get your ad account red boxed. It's only a matter of time.
This may be new to you but there's an option to request FB ad accounts from your CPA...
I decided to incorporate a new habit to upload more content to my blog. Every time I'm flying somewhere I am going to write a useful guide. Lucky you – I'm flying all the time so my blog is expected to be filled with LOTS OF useful content. :) (At the moment I'm flying from my hometown Budapest, Hungary to visit friends in Bucharest, Romania)
So have you made a rookie mistake and got your first account banned?
When I consult my clients I always explain them how it is almost the most important part of their “money making system”.
Setting up campaigns and optimizing is only one side of the business but when it comes to accounts it is super hard to get the right information in hand. No one wants to share this with others as the more people know about it the faster Facebook will catch on.
So what are your options when it comes to Facebook Accounts?
A. You buy accounts.
B. JV on accounts
C. Create new accounts
D. In-House Account...
Today is my 25th birthday. It is a magical number as I’ve been waiting for soooo long to be able to rent a car without any extra fees. :D I know it sounds silly but this is the only benefit I can think of when I realize it’s my 25th birthday. I don’t feel much difference, it’s just a number and appreciate life as much as yesterday or a week before… Instead of celebrating myself I show my appreciation to my mom so after I’m done with this article I’m going to head to the flower shop and get her a bunch flowers to show my appreciation to her. I flew home from Bangkok just to be with her and also to see my dog Bandita.
So let’s get into this, lessons I learned in the past 7 years:
Life Lesson #1: Face Your Fears - Just about one year ago I got a request from Jordan (aka Stackman from the STM Forum) to give a speech about my affiliate journey in front of 600 people in London at their meetup. This was my first public speaking and the...
