WOW! I am so stoked! Shawn Collins – one of the founders of Affiliate Summit - personally reached out to me and asked if I'd like to do a speech at the next Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas!

This just brought up a childhood memory when I was 17 I was visiting my brother in Houston, TX when I realized there was an upcoming Affiliate Summit taking place in Las Vegas.

Now if you've been to an Affiliate Summit before, you know the age limit to attend is minimum 21 – so when I read that line on their website, I was thinking I will personally reach out to Missy Ward and talk myself into the conference.

I had no self-doubt I can do it - I am naturally like that – when I set my mind to something, a goal or project I fear no obstacles. :)

I am on the way back to my new home – Barcelona as I'm writing this article. I just got done with an amazing Chinese business trip – spent some incredible time in Xi'an, China.

Leadbit and Yeahmobi invited me as a speaker to their Chinese Affiliate Meetup, which took place on Friday. More than 400 affiliates showed up, mostly Chinese attendees but you could meet people from Canada, Romania, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

They had speakers from all around the world, Kokofai from the well-known STM forum was hosting the event and he did an outstanding job, he speaks Mandarin and English so we had a good understanding of what's happening. After spending some good amount of time in sunny California, I wasn't sure if I was ready to leave for Europe and dive in to a full week of networking.

June 9-12, 2017 – the weekend of super affiliates.

And by super affiliates I mean the top 50. From all around the world. Guys (and girls!!) from Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, US and many more took the time to fly to beautiful Antalya, Turkey. We were treated like superstars by the AdCombo team – hands down to an elite weekend! They covered the flight, the all inclusive luxury resort stay and looked after all our wishes.

It has been over a year ago since we had the last STM meetup here in London. Looking back, things have changed a lot since then. I am not just a simple affiliate anymore... I remember in London I was a solo affiliate with part time remote workers. Things have grown to the next level and my operations are keep expanding.

I'm not only a full-time affiliate marketer but also a consultant for Facebook ads with 100s of consulting hours behind me. My horizon has expanded and I have realized how important it is to take advantage of the opportunities that come across me. A lot of people hit me up for guidance on how to run on FB and truth to be told I wasn't very keen on letting “my secrets” out. But then I look at things from a different perspective. First of all not many affiliates have the willpower to take action. FB's algo is super complex and it takes a lot of...

All Facebook marketers can relate to the nightmare of not having any ad accounts to run on. You don't necessarily need to be a naughty affiliate to get your accounts flagged. Many affiliates ask the question what flags an account and my main answer would be: your ads. How!? People are hating no matter what content you're running – for example you run an ad for a Papa T-shirt which is completely compliant with FB's rules but you still end up with a flagged account. Why does it happen? When users don't like your ad first they flag it, then they post a negative comment as they're associating a negative memory or feeling with your image or ad copy. (for example some would comment, “my papa died -,-”) This is out of your control, you can't really predict how many people will flag your ad – which will eventually get your ad account red boxed. It's only a matter of time.

This may be new to you but there's an option to request FB ad accounts from your CPA...

I decided to incorporate a new habit to upload more content to my blog. Every time I'm flying somewhere I am going to write a useful guide. Today is my 25^th birthday. It is a magical number as I’ve been waiting for soooo long to be able to rent a car without any extra fees. :D I know it sounds silly but this is the only benefit I can think of when I realize it’s my 25th birthday. I don’t feel much difference, it’s just a number and appreciate life as much as yesterday or a week before… Instead of celebrating myself I show my appreciation to my mom so after I’m done with this article I’m going to head to the flower shop and get her a bunch flowers to show my appreciation to her. I flew home from Bangkok just to be with her and also to see my dog Bandita.
